Oh, No! Please not more nonsense about the “rule of thirds,” and the “rule of odds!” The first was invented by a late 19th century English painter as a key to his own work. Rules are anathema to art, and most often result in a painting by numbers formula. Formula kills art. The latter was invented by someone who hates pictures of parent and child, twins, couples in love, and prefers images that show 99 camels instead of 100 crossing the Sahara.
