Dear Adam, it’s not only our children’s creative needs, but those of all of us, irrespective of age. Because I felt the poverty of my existence, I switched from being a professor of political science to becoming an artist in midlife. I am not unique. I love sharing my “creations” with all who enjoy them, and I’d be appalled to find my work locked up in a freeport. My art is not part of an investment portfolio, but very much part of my “investment” in a better, more creative life.
